Pet-Friendly Policy

Dear Esteemed Guests,


At El Jardin De Zaida, we strive to provide a welcoming and secure environment for both our guests and their cherished pets. To ensure a harmonious experience for all, we have established the following comprehensive pet policy:

 

  1. Only domestic dogs and cats are allowed, with a maximum weight of 30 lbs and a maximum height of 20". Exotic/wild animals, birds, rodents, insects, reptiles, and any other animals not specified above are strictly prohibited.
  2. To prioritize the safety of all guests, pets must be fully vaccinated for diseases such as Parvo Virus, Para Influenza, Leptospirosis, Rabies, and Distemper. A copy of the vaccination card must be submitted prior to check-in. Pets should also be fully trained for toilet and behavior.
  3. To ensure the comfort of all our guests, those with pets are allocated in our Standard Villa Rooms.
  4. Upon check-in, a security deposit equivalent to PHP 4,000.00 per stay is required. This deposit covers any damages incurred during your stay, such as stained bedding or scratches on furniture. It will be refunded upon check-out, provided no damages are found.
  5. Guests with pets agree to pay a Sanitation Fee of PHP 1,500.00 per pet, per stay, with PHP 100.00 being donated to PAWS or CARA Welfare Philippines.
  6. Each room is prepared to accommodate a maximum of one pet, subject to additional costs. A set of pet amenities, including a bowl, bed, and cleaning tools, are provided per room per stay.
  7. Guests are required to comply with all applicable ordinances, rules, and regulations regarding pets, including leash and licensing requirements.
  8. Pets must be kept on a leash with diapers if in public areas and accompanied by a guest in all public areas of the resort. They are allowed at the bar and restaurant’s al fresco area only and are not allowed at the Premier Villa Pool and Grand Infinity Pool. 
  9. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets in their respective rooms and in all areas of the property. Guests should properly dispose any pet waste at the designated bins in their room and at the pet park.
  10. Pets must not be left unattended at any time during the stay. If pets need to be left unattended for a brief period, guests agree to protect them by housing them in an appropriate pet carrier.
  11. Any disturbances caused by pets must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced.
  12. The resort reserves the right to require immediate removal of pets if any terms and conditions of this Pet Policy or other applicable house rules are violated by the guest, or if the pet displays inappropriate behavior. Guests will be responsible for all charges related to the removal of pets.
  13. The resort reserves the right to amend or supplement the pet rules by written notice, and guests agree to abide by any such amendment or supplement.
  14. The resort shall not be responsible for the care of pets at any time. It remains the guest's sole responsibility to keep pets under control at all times.
  15. Pet guardians agree to accept full responsibility for their pets and hold El Jardin De Zaida harmless for any bodily injury to any person or animal, or any property damage or loss caused by their pets.
  16. Pet guardians agree to indemnify El Jardin De Zaida and its employees for any loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense arising as a result of or in connection with the presence or action of their pets. Costs incurred for cleaning, deodorizing, defleaing, repairing, or replacing any part of the hotel room due to pet-related issues may be charged to the pet guardian's credit card.
  17. This Pet Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Legal complaints must be filed in our country.
  18. Please note that this Pet Policy does not apply to service animals.
